This Saturday evening marks the official opening of our new spectator stand. The Club is honoured to welcome Uachtaran Cumann Luthcleas Gael, Aogan O Fearghail to officially open the stand.  Beginning at 5 p.m.  the opening ceremony will be followed by a juvenile blitz for Under 6’s, 8’s , 10’s and 12’s.  Visiting Juvenile Clubs will be Glanworth, Kilavullen, Doneraile and Ballylanders.  We look forward to seeing a large attendance at this event.



Last Monday evening at the home venue, our Under 16 B2 hurlers scored a convincing 3-24 to 1-4 victory over City side Nemo Rangers in the semi-final of the championship.   Having led at the end of the first half 1-12 to 0-4 they went on to completely outplay their opponents and qualify for the final.  Their Under 16 B2 football counterparts are already through to the final in which they play Doneraile, this Thursday evening, again at the home venue, at 7.30 p.m. We wish them the best of luck.

By now existing subscribers to the draw will have received their renewal notices from Pairc Ui Rinn.  Promoters and subscribers are reminded that the first draw in the new series i.e. the September/October draws will be held at the end of the month.  Accordingly, promoters are asked to collect their subscriptions as soon as possible and hand them in not later than Monday October 23rd.



Now that the €12,000 Club lotto jackpot has gone to a good home, it’s back to basics again.  The new jackpot will start at €1,000 when the next draw takes place at Sheahan’s Hilltop Lounge this Saturday night.



At last Monday’s Club meeting a vote of sympathy was passed to the family and relatives of the late Mary Chris Foley, Ballyhindon, Fermoy on their recent bereavement.  Ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam.
