The next draw in the Club lotto will be held this Saturday night, at Walsh’s Corner House, when the jackpot will be €10,800.

On Tuesday evening, last week our Minor B hurlers travelled to Banteer where they played the local side in the North Cork league.  In a thrilling high-scoring game they emerged victorious on the above score.

 

CORK MINORS

Congratulations to our two representatives James Keating and Ian Butler and the Cork minor hurlers on their win over Tipperary in the replayed Munster semi-final, last Tuesday evening.  

We wish them the best of luck in the Munster final, at Semple Stadium, on Sunday.  

Kildorrery was also represented on the Cork Under 16 camogie team, by Sally McCarthy  and Aine Keating defeated by Clare, last Sunday.

 

HILLFEST

The annual G.A.A./ Community festival got under way, last Sunday, with a Family Fun Day which included an under-age football blitz in the G.A.A pitch.

Blessed with  glorious weather, the event attracted a huge crowd, all  of whom, no doubt enjoyed what was on offer.  

The Festival continues this week-end with a varied programme, with something to suit all tastes.

This Thursday night there will be a Table Quiz in the Creamery Yard Bar, commencing at 9.30.p.m.

Friday . Bobblegox ( comedy extravaganza) 8.p.m. ticket only. Available from Thornhill’s, Community office and Post Office.  This will be followed by music by Donie O’Sullivan.   

Saturday.  Cottage Market  11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Saturday nght.   Hot Fuss and D.J. Denny.  Doors open 9.30 p.m. Full Bar.

Sunday .  All off to Thurles to witness the Rebels record a double!
