Our Junior hurlers scored a deserved 1-13 to 0-8 win over Liscarrol/Churchtown Gaels in the Division 3 league, at Churchtown, last Wednesday evening. The Intermediate hurling league game versus Tracton which was to have been played at our venue, on Thursday evening last week, was postponed due to a bereavement in the Tracton club. The game has been re-fixed for this Thursday evening at our venue at 8 p.m.
As mentioned in these notes, last week, our Intermediate hurling championship game versus Eire Og has been fixed for Friday April 28 th at Rathcormac 7 p.m.
LOTTO
The Jackpot of €9,600 was not won when the Club’s fortnightly lotto draw was held at Walsh’ Corner House, last Saturday night.
The numbers drawn were: 2, 5, 12 and 18. Three lucky dip winners of €50 each were:
1. Paul Casey, Mitchelstown.
2. Elaine O’Connor, Scart.
3. David Lee, Scart & Dubai.
The next draw will be held at Sheahan’s Hilltop Lounge, on Saturday April 29 th . when the Jackpot will be €9,800.
