We had two home fixtures, last week. On Thursday night, our Minor B1 footballers lost their league game narrowly, to Ballycastle Gaels on the score of Kildorrery 2-08 Gaels 1-13.
Then on Friday night, our Junior B footballers scored their second league win, on the trot, defeating Liscarroll/Churchtown Gaels 2-05 to 2-04.
Friday March 3 rd . Intermediate Hurling League v Meelin at Kildorrery. 8 p.m.
Saturday March 4 th . Division 3 Hurling League V Liscarroll/Churchtown Gaels at Kildorrery 8p.m. (to be confirmed).
The victorious minor hurling team of 2016 who won both North Cork and County Rebel Og leagues were presented with their medals at a most enjoyable function in the Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown, last Saturday night. A special word of thanks to Stevie and Lorraine Kent for all their work in organising the event.
As the draw date is fast approaching, a last round-up of ticket-selling is being made over the coming days. Ticket-sellers will be undertaking a door-to- door campaign in surrounding areas and support will be greatly appreciated.

The Club lotto jackpot will be €9,000 when the fortnightly draw takes place at Walsh’s Corner House, this Saturday night.
