Deceased played under-age and minor hurling before progressing to the Junior team. He was a member of the team which won both North Cork League and Championhip in 1969 and championship in 1972. Sympathy is extended to his brothers Thomas, David and Colman, sisters Nora and Maureen, brothers-in- law, sisters-in- law, nieces and nephews. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
