It was a positive week this week as we saw the Intermediates return to play.

Our opening fixture saw us play Kilshannig in in the Intermediate football league on  Monday 7th June 2pm in Kildorrery.

This really was a Blow the cobwebs away get together and a chance to get back in to competitive play. It was an excellent opportunity to try out a number of new players and while there is always room for improvement it was a great relief to be back and to see some of the up and coming talent. While we never really penetrated,Kilshannig were able to punish with two goals and we weren’t quite able to catch them.

At half time we had registered 3 points against Kilshannig 1-05. Kilshannig pulled away in the second half to finish winners on a score line of 2-11 to 0-05.

The team lined out as follows T Watson,CO’Baoill,F.Daly,Pj.Keating,D.Hunter,I.Butler,DMcNmara,WFouhy,Dkent,KHurleyPO.Brien,JO.Gorman,JOSullivan,EOConnor,Charringyon. Subs Used John Hunter,Timmy Sullivan,A Nelligan,Wil Coffey.
