KILDORRERY 1-9 CLYDA ROVERS 2-9

On Tuesday evening last week, our Under 21B footballers lost their opening round of the championship to Clyda Rovers on the score 1-9 to 2-9.  This was a disappointing result especially as our boys led 1-6 to 0-4 at the end of the first half. They will now face Kilavullen in the next round, this Friday evening at Mitchelstown 8 p.m.

POSTPONED

The bad weather, last Sunday, caused the postponement of our Intermediate football league game versus city side St.Nick’s, at their venue at 11.30 a.m.

LOTTO

The Club’s next fortnightly lotto draw will be held at Ollie’s Bar this Saturday night when the jackpot will be €4,000.

FUND RAISER

The Club is organising a Coffee Morning, a Cake Sale and a Challenge match, all to be held on Saturday 29th February.  The proceeds will go towards the Ger Spillane Benefit Fund.   It was with great regret we learned recently that Ger, a former under-age player with the Club, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. We look forward to your generous support for this worthy causes.

WEDDING BELLS

We extend best wishes to Richie McEniry and his bride, Geraldine McMahon from Co. Clare who are getting married this week-end.
