KILDORRERY 4-10 CILL MOCHOMOG 2-7

Hearties congratulations to our Minor hurlers on a great convincing victory over Bantry side Mochomog in the Rebel Og County Division 3 league final, at Cloughduv, last Friday evening. The final score was Kildorrery 4-11 Mochomog 2-7.  Apart from two costly errors in the first half, Kildorrery were never in any real danger of losing this game. At half time they were just two points to the good 2-4 to 2-2.  They went on in the second half to stamp their authority on the game and at the three-quarter way mark were 3-10 to 2-5 ahead and went on to win on the above score. Team and scorers:  Fionan Walsh-O’Grady, Declan Mullins, Conor Kent, Timmy O’Sullivan, Mattie Walsh-O’Grady 0-1, John Hunter, Kieran Hurley, Richard Hurley 0-2, Pierce Pigott 1-0, Sean Cunningham 0-4 (0-2fs), Paddy Harrington, Sean Watson 0-2, Cathal O’Sullivan.  Sub. Luke Keating 3-2 for P.Pigott inj.

LOTTO

There was no winner of the €2,800 jackpot when the fortnightly Club lotto draw was held at Ollie’s Bar, last Saturday night. 

The numbers drawn were: 3, 9, 11, 20. Three lucky dip winners of €50 each were:

3.Claire Lowther, Meadstown

The next draw will be held at Walsh’s Corner House on Saturday December 7th. When the jackpot will be €3,000.

 

A.G.M.

The annual general meeting of the Club will be held in the Club Hall this Friday night at 7.30 p.m. We are looking forward to a full attendance.
