He was joined for the run by Club members Jimmy Monaghan and John Gallagher. Kevin’s aim is to run a mile at each of the 156 G.A.A. pitches in Cork county. The proceeds of his runs will go to Cork Deaf Association and Parkinson’s Association of Ireland.

POC FADA

On Saturday afternoon the Club hosted a Poc Fada competition on the Graigue road from Hennessy’s Garage.  While the number of entries in the Juvenile section was a little disappointing, there was a good turn-out for the adult competitions which catered for ladies and gents past and present players.

Best Ladies Team: Judy McCarthy, Sally McCarthy and Tara O’Gorman.

Best Current Players: David Kelly, Sean Kelly and Finbarr Stapleton.
