KILDORRERY 6-10 FERMOY 2-10

We played two league games, last week. On Tuesday evening our Junior footballers were at home to Fermoy in the Cavanagh’s Fermoy Division 3 League. They won this game convincingly on the score 6-10 to 2-10.

KILDORRERY 1-13  BALLYDESMOND 3-12

On Wednesday evening, also at the home venue, our Intermediate footballers lost to  the Duhallow side Ballydesmond, in the Division 4 League. Having led at the break, 2-5 to 1-7, the visitors went on to finish with a five point winning margin.

WALK-OVER

Due to shortage of players we were forced to concede the Division 4 League points to Castletownbere, last week-end.

 

FIXTURE

Friday June 14th.  Cavanagh’s Fermoy Division 2 Hurling League V Ballyhea at Kildorrery 7.30 p.m.

 

POC FADA

The Club is holding a poc fada on this Saturday June 15th. There will be separate categories for Current Players, Past Players & Ladies. Juvenile Boys and Girls will also be catered for with competitions for Under 12’s, 14’s and 16’s.

The course is from Hennessy’s Garage to Graigue Cross.

Teams of three @ €5 per player for Juveniles . Adults €10 per player.

Registration at G.A,A Hall from 3 p.m. for Juveniles. Ladies, Current and Past Players from    4 p.m. Players must provide their own hurleys and sliotars.

Refreshments will be served in the Club Hall during the afternoon.

NOTE.  This is a fund-raiser for “Strictly Kildorrery”  dancing event. Participants can vote for the dancing couple of their choice when registering.  All support will be greatly appreciated.

 

LOTTO

The Club lotto jackpot of €9,600 was not won when the fortnightly draw  was held at Ollie’s Bar, last Saturday night. The numbers drawn were: 5, 6, 8, 24.
