It was a busy week-end for the Club, with three fixtures to fulfil.   On Friday night we hosted a Division 4 Intermediate football league game versus Gabriel Rangers, which unfortunately we lost on the score-line of 1-11 to 2-11.  Having played with the wind advantage in the opening half, we led at the break 0-9 to 1-3, but Rangers came back in the second half to take the points.

On Saturday evening, our junior footballers travelled to Araglen where they played the local side in the Division 3 league. Having led at the interval 1-6 to nil, they won comfortably on the final score 4-13 to 1-3.

Then on Sunday afternoon, we hosted the North Cork Minor B 3 football league game in which we defeated Charleville, 3-13 to 1-3.

The Jackpot of €8,000 was not won when the fortnightly Club lotto draw took place  Three lucky dip winners of €50 each were:

Congratulations go this week to our Club Leas-Chathaoirleach, Joe Sherlock and his wife Eimear on the birth of their daughter, Siun.



Last Monday’s Club meeting was adjourned as a mark of respect to the late Timmy Moriarty, Gortacurrig and formerly of Ardpatrick.   The late Timmy will be remembered by many as an honest and tough exponent on the field, during his time playing for our Club. Sympathy is extended to his wife, Sheila, daughters and relatives on their bereavement. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
