Before last Monday’s weekly Club meeting, the organisers of the recently held Barn Dance presented the Club with a cheque for €3,500, half the proceeds of the event. The presentation was made by Ms Marie Collins, Chairperson to Club Cathaoirleach Dave Roche. An Cathaoirleach expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Club and praised the Barn Dance organisers for their foresight in holding the event and their very generous contribution.

 

LOTTO

The next Club Lotto draw will be held at Sheahan’s Hilltop Lounge this Saturday night October 27th. when the jackpot will be €6,400.

CO. FINAL REFEREE

Belated sincere congratulations to Dave O’Farrell Jnr. who refereed the Co. Intermediate Hurling final between Blackrock and Ballincollig. While on the subject of referees, the Club is asking any prospective referees within the Club to hand in your names to Club Runai, James Fox, at your earliest convenience.

 

CO. CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to Fermoy on winning the Co.Premier Intermediate football championship final with 0-11 to 0-7 win over St.Michaels, last week-end.

 

SYMPATHY

At last Monday’s weekly Club meeting a vote of sympathy was passed to the Hunter family, Tankardstown on their recent bereavement.   Ar dheis De go raibh anamacha na marbh.
