LOTTO
The next fortnightly Club lotto draw will be held this Saturday night, at Ollie’s Bar, when the jackpot will be €3,000.
FIXTURES
Our teams had a break from league fixtures, last week-end. However, they will back in action this week-end, when they travel to Midleton to play the locals in the Division 3 hurling league at 2.30 p.m. On the following Sunday, March 11th, it’s back to football for a local derby clash with neighbours, Mitchelstown in the Division 4 football league, at Kikldorrery 2.30 p.m.
Saturday March 3rd. Under 21 football championship Kilavullen v Ballycastle Gaels at Kildorrery 3 p.m.
Under 21B football championship Kildorrery v Doneraile at Shanballymore 4 p.m.
C.B.S. DEFEATED
Commiserations to Will Duggan and our Kildorrery players and the Mitchelstown C.B.S. Under 181/2 Football team which, unfortunately, lost their Munster championship game to Pobal Scoil Inbhear Sceine at Ballyvourney, last Saturday. They were most unfortunate to have to line out without two top players in James Keating and Mark Keane. However, they still have the Under 181/2 All-Ireland semi-final to look forward to on Saturday March 10th. and hopefully they will have a full panel available.
GOOD WISHES
We extend best wishes to Aogan O Fearghail, who has just completed his term as Uachtaran Cumann Luthcleas Gael.
SYMPATHY
At last Monday’s Club meeting, votes of sympathy were passed to the following: the Dunne family, Graigue, on the death of Catherine’s brother; to the parents, sister and relatives of the late Aodhan O Conchuir, Dingle. Ar dheis De go raibh a n-anamacha.
