Juvenile Social a Great Success
Congrats to everyone involved with the juvenile social last night. It was a very successful and enjoyable night, and it was great to celebrate the success of ’23.

There was no winner of the club lotto this week. The numbers drawn were 4,6,18,30.. The lucky dip winners were Dave Conroy Mitchelstown,Maurice Hickey Oldcastletown, William Jackson C/o Tom Jackson,Eileen Kennedy Finn,Elaine O Dea, Dani Henry Monaghan Australia.
Coaching Committee
The Coaching Committee held their first workshop with James McGlade last Saturday and he went through a practical approach to coaching Athletic Development in our players.
Well done to everyone involved. Thanks to all our juvenile members and members who participated in the practical element.
Pitch Opening
Our pitch is due for reopening THIS week coming subject to weather of course. On behalf of the club we would like to thank you for your patience as we completed necessary improvements and enhancements to it . We would like to thank the team that helped out to get it to that place. You will see our new posts , re sodded goal mouths and Nets which greatly enhance the pitch. There are some guidelines we would like teams to consider maintaining the pitch. Those examples are warming up in collins fields, goal guards on the pitch when goals not required and juvenile goals being moved around as often as possible so as not to be on the one spot all the time. So as we drive on in ‘24 we’ll try to do the right thing by all the teams and the pitch to keep it in the best possible condition. Thank you.
Fixtures
Our intermediates take to the field this weekend coming against Saint Catherines at 11.30am in Kildorrery this Sunday morning in the Red FM HL Div 4. Our Junior Hurlers play Friday night in Kildorrery contingent on the pitch being ready at 8pm.
Congrats
Congrats to Shane Fitzgerald & Ashley O’Brien who got married at the weekend. Best wishes from all the club.
Thank you
Thanks to Brendan Walsh Marshalstown who kindly donated a projector to the club.
