Intermediate Footballers get off to a good start
In Group C we got the better of Ballinora by 0-8 to 0-7 in Watergrasshill and went top of the group as a result as Mitchelstown and Boherbue had drawn on Tuesday night. Shane O’Neill played an important role as he kicked 0-7, including our last two that put us two clear. Cork U20 hurling star, Shane Kingston, brought Ballinora back to within one, but they couldn’t force an equaliser. The half time score of five points to four told its own story in terms of how both clubs set themselves up. And that was going to be the order of the day. The club was delighted to get the win and get the season off to a great start. We now top the table as both Mitchelstown and Boherbue drew.
Well done lads.
