What a Weekend

The commencement of our festival took place last weekend and it lived up to its promise of being a great week for the parish and wider community. There was a great buzz in the air and with the arrival of Corks fittest superstars and the legend that is Davy Fitzgerald. It was certainly one for the ages. All the teams put themselves to the ultimate test. Best wishes to scoil pol the winners on the day. This was truly a great weekend for all. The remainder of this week is also going to be a cracker with a ladies soiree on Thursday, the Fogues playing on Friday and Qween on Saturday. Best wishes to all involved. It promises to be a great weekend. Well done to all the organisers and helpers on Saturday. It truly was a great weekend and thanks to all the volunteers who threw their shoulder to the wheel. The club motto of Ni Neart go cur le cheile was definitely evident for all to be seen.
