A tough weekend for our juveniles.

On Friday evening our U14 hurlers played Kilshannig in the Rebel Óg D2 Hurling league in Glantane. The boys worked very hard, a rough first half fighting a gale force wind and were behind by 11 points at half time. The deficit was reduced to 3 points at full time, Kilshannig 3-09 KDY 3-06. A very promising start to the year.

On Friday evening our U14 girls were out in the D2 football league second round against a physically stronger Mourneabby side. The girls worked very hard and gave a great team performance, final score Mourneabby 5-08, KDY 2-05.

Our U16s hurlers were away to Whitechurch in the D3 hurling league on Sunday morning. We were limited to 13 players with no substitutes. The players worked very hard and again a very promising start to the season, keep up the hard work. Whitechurch 4-09 KDY 2-08.
