Astro Committee update

An exciting announcement from the Astro development committee regarding some dates for your diary in March. The official launch will take place on Saturday March 4th Book it in. This promises to be a great event to join in as we develop and enhance our facilities for all to share. Everybody in the community is welcome to the event.

There is Bingo in the hall Friday night.. Home bingo books on sale in the Community office ,Post office, Centra Kildorrery, and Maxol Mitchelstown. This week’s snow ball prize is €400. Thank you as always for your support.


GAA social

A social night to mark the outstanding achievement of our ladies will be held in March on March 24th. We will also commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Intermediate football county winning team on the same night.

This promises to be a great night and we look forward to seeing as many as possible there. Watch out for social media and press announcements.



The club is always looking for volunteers to support in any way. If you would like to become a volunteer with the club in some area please leave any of the club officers know. As we work with the community team with the Bingo it would be great to have more volunteers for the Bingo on a Friday night if possible. We currently work the bingo on a rota basis. If you are interested please reach out to Marie Collins or any of the Club officers.
