Club meeting
We held our club meeting on Monday night and there was a great attendance on the night. With many topics covered it was with a sense of excitement that we commence the new year. The most poignant part of the night was when our Treasurer Will Duggan spoke so eloquently about the late Tom Herlihy who had been a club stalwart and had such an active part particularly when the matches were on. Tom was fondly remembered by all and it was lovely to recall some memories of him on the night.
No Joy for out under 21’s
This past weekend we played the North Cork final versus a very strong Liscarrol/Churchtown team. The final score at 2-22 to 2-09 to Liscarroll/Churchtown was no reflection of the hard work and shift the team put in in the first half where we led by a point at one stage. The team battled bravely but alas the victors were too strong in the finish. Well done to all the team and mentors and best of luck for the year ahead.
Congrats
Congrats to Mr. Duggan and all of the Kildorrery contingent involved with Mitchelstown CBS on their great win last week in the Munster football semi-final against CBS Ennistymon.
