Thank You

The initial club meeting for 2023 took place Monday evening and was adjourned as a mark of respect to the Hartnett family on the sad passing of Paddy our former club member.

As we close out on what has been a sad few weeks for the Hartnett family the community and the club, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who supported over the last few weeks. Those who stewarded for the funeral, those who made the guard of honour, the players and his friends who were exemplary in their leadership and everybody who was there to support. Thank you sincerely to all from the club. Godspeed Paddy.

Gym Update

Good evening and welcome to our newest gym members. As we are well underway in the new year, and to ensure everything is up to date, we will shortly be removing any members from this group, who have not yet renewed their gym membership for 2023.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the last number of years and we hope that you found our gym facilities beneficial.

Of course you will be more than welcome to re-join at any point in the year on a pro rata rate through the usual channels, and we hope to see everyone return again for the year ahead.

If you happen to be removed from the group and you have paid your membership, please let Mikey Walsh know and he will re-add you.

If you have any questions on the above, don’t hesitate to contact any member of the gym committee.

Next meeting

Our next club meeting will take place on Monday 30th. At this meeting we will at a high level outline our five year plan and strategy for the club we would like to invite people to become part of our committee structure which we will adopt from February 2023. There are six key areas of the club where we would invite people to volunteer and participate. As we evolve the one club structure to include as many people as possible there is always room for people to join. The key pillars of our plan for the next few years involve the following areas, Field development, Finance, Fundraising, Coaching and development, Communications and culture, and facilities development. If you believe you could contribute to any of these areas you are more than welcome and please reach out to Joe Sherlock or any of the officers and we will be delighted to have you.
