Sad times for the Club and community

As we approach the New year we should be doing so with great enthusiasm and joy but alas this week It was with great sadness and shock we learned of the untimely death of our dear club member ,player and friend to many Paddy Hartnett. Paddy will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Paddy played in many teams at juvenile and adult level and everybody had great words for him. From his playing days to helping at Cúl camp he was liked by all. He also had the chance to captain teams to glory such was the quality of leadership he possessed. All coaches that worked with him said he was a pleasure to be around and all players thought of him as a great friend and great fun. Not alone are the GAA community so sad but the wider community also are heartbroken for his family.

Our thoughts are with Martin, Helen,Eoin,Harry and the late Jack along with all his friends and family at this sad time. All club activity was suspended this week to mark the sad occasion.

Paddy you will be forever in our thoughts.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
