Many thanks in advance as always Everybody is welcome to the pitch.

Finals this weekend

Big weekend of finals below for our juvenile teams. Best of luck to all players, coaches, and parents.

The rescheduled hurling finals cancelled last weekend will take place Saturday 4th October.

Pitch update

Important that people have the correct footwear, moulded studs, Astro footwear or runners. We would ask all coaches to make sure this is the case.

Secondly the booking of the Astro will be reviewed weekly until we get the proper flow of training, capacity etc.

These bookings will be supervised. This is an exciting time for all of us and I know we will treat the Astro with the respect it deserves.

200 club updates

To date we have 95 people or families signed up to our 200 club. The 200 club will remain open to entry so please sign up if you can as it funds the very important loan for our Astro.

Thanks to all who have signed up so far.

Ní neart go cur le cheile

Please make sure to sign up as we are well short of the target to be able to pay back the loan comfortably .

Remember You can retrieve a mandate from your own bank and submit to Barry , James Jackie Joe or the post box in the yard.

Or just go online and set it up. If you’re an existing 100 club direct debit member you can contact the bank directly or online and adjust your monthly amount if you wish to remain in the scheme.

Very Important!!!Remember to let one of the above know if you’re joining or rejoining the 100 club so we can capture your membership of the 200 club.

Brochures are available or reach out to any of the above for more information. Have a great weekend. And thank you again for your support.

Thank You

On behalf of the McCarthy, Ahern and Lee family I would like to thank everyone who supported the Jeremiah Ahern Memorial golf tournament across the weekend. We are blown away by the generosity of the local community in supporting two great charity’s in The Irish Cancer Society and Cork Arc Cancer Support House. The weekend was a tremendous success with over 200 golfers participating. Thank you to everyone who donated to the raffle, played a round of golf or sponsored a prize for the raffle. Miah was a great friend to many in the club and I know he would be incredibly proud of the support that was shown across the weekend. It was great to be able to honour his memory across the weekend. Thank you to every one of you.

Congrats Hazel

Massive congratulations to Hazel Dooling, Emily Murphy and Leah Kinsella who all done trails for North Cork Teams over the last couple of weeks. Numbers for the trails were very high this year and to have 3 from kildorrery is fantastic achievement. Well done to all 3 girls and we wish them all the best over the next couple of weeks. To fill you in the U13 & U15 North Cork Teams play all the divisions over next few weekends and then there is a final and in the new year all these players can trial out for the Cork U14 & Cork U16 2026 panels.

Lotto

The lotto draw will took place on Monday September 29TH. It was €6400. At the time of writing the winners were not known.

Next meeting

The next club meeting will be Monday October 13th. All welcome.
