Super Festival weekend had

The festival weekend went down well over the weekend with something for all the family.

Friday night saw the family table quiz while Saturday night brought disco bingo with DJ Denny and then Sunday, we saw the Hillfest games in the pitch and we bopped away Sunday night to the band Dizzy Lizzy and Ciaran o Gorman. Congrats to the festival committee on putting together another brilliant weekend for the community. People are looking forward to the disco bingo already next year! The sports day was a huge success, and the bands rocked it out last night. And of course, DJ Denny to fire it all up as usual.

Thanks to the team at the Bar, the token team and the stewarding team and ticketing team and to local Guard Vincent and colleagues for supporting also. To all who helped a big thank you. Until 2026 that’s a wrap.

Hurlers claim more league points against Tracton

Kildorrery Intermediate Hurlers welcomed Tracton to their home venue last Friday. The first half was a very even contest and at half time the score was Kildorrery 10pts Tracton 9pts

Kildorrery upped the tempo in the second half to run out convincing winners on the scoreline of Kildorrery 23pts Tracton 11 pts.

This was Kildorrery third consecutive victory, and it was good to see such a wholehearted performance. Kildorrerys first touch and striking was also very good.

It was very welcome to see players coming back from injuries and hopefully a few more will be back very soon.
