Safeguarding
Last week a very successful safeguarding course was facilitated by the club.
Thanks to all who attended and thanks to our three officers who do a sterling job in ensuring we are upholding the highest standards of safeguarding with our kids and coaches and keeping us all compliant.
Thanks to Ned Dwane and Mike Murphy in their roles as Children’s officers and Brenda Coughlan who is the clubs Designated Liaison Person. All roles are critically important, and we appreciate all the work that goes with the jobs. The booklets will be shared on web site shortly.

Every now and again we get the opportunity to really celebrate and applaud the work and effort put in by our members.
This evening, we are delighted to share our own Maria Noonan’s acknowledgement by the LGFA of everything she does for the Gaelic Athletic Association. Maria is an outstanding GAA colleague and friend to all of us. This acknowledgement is truly well deserved. You certainly are one of the heroes of the club Maria. Results
- JHL Kildorrery 2-25 Kilworth 2-15
- IFL Kildorrery 0-13 to Cobh 1-14
Our intermediate footballers played out this very tame encounter on Sunday morning. The visitors to Kildorrery always seemed to have the upper hand and were in a commanding position from the start. Our half time score of nine points to four told its own story whereby we never got going throughout the whole match. A lot of food for thought after that.
