Mother & Others

Kildorrery G4M&O blitz 2022 was held on Saturday morning last and was a huge success. We had a total of 16 teams taking part. Thank you to the teams who travelled from Cork, Limerick, and Tipperary to join us.

Huge thanks to the team coach Helena Hennessy, who co-ordinated the whole event and deserves huge credit for bringing this fantastic event to our club & we look forward to it being an annual occasion.

 

Junior Camogie County Final

Our junior Camogie team are out on Monday next October 31st v Millstreet in Grenagh at 11.45am in the Junior C 13-a-side championship County Final. What a fantastic bunch of players. This is the first year the club has a junior Camogie team & the players & management have worked hard all year & especially in preparing for this final. Please come out , wear the blue & while & support these very worthy women.

It’s been a busy year for this squad of players. They have enjoyed a very fruitful county league campaign & were very deserving winners of the final in June.

End of Year Activities

Our Juvenile Gaa groups & our ladies football & Camogie juvenile age groups are looking forward to Bank Holiday Monday. The younger age groups with head to Mallow Gate Cinema to watch a Halloween movie. Our older age groups with head to Ballyhass Adventure Centre to take part in some fun activities. This is the first year our one club has brought both clubs together for the end of year activities & we’re sure a fantastic day of fun will be enjoyed. Plans are also underway for a joint end of year celebration social for medal presentations on December 2nd. Save the date!

 

Lotto

The lotto draw takes place again this Monday night. You can also play online. The Jackpot will be €3800.

 

Bingo

Bingo continues in the hall on a Friday night at 8pm. If anybody would like to volunteer to help at the Bingo on a rota basis, please contact Kerene Gallagher or Marie Collins

Kildorrery Home Bingo books on sale in the Community office ,Post office, Centra, and Maxol Mitchelstown.The jackpot is €1080. This week’s snowball prize is ,€1450 Thank you.

 

Juvenile AGM

The juvenile club AGM time will happen on the 13th November. If you wish to be involved with the club please contact Dave white incoming chair on 0871302724. New faces always welcome.

 

AGM

The forthcoming club AGM will take place on Saturday December 3rd at 6.45pm. If you would like to get involved with the club please leave any of the club officers know.

 

EGM

A special EGM will be held on Monday November 28th to discuss the Proposed Astro Turf proposal that is currently being worked on by members of the group.

This will be preceded on Monday 21st by an information session where the members of the Astro group will bring members through the proposal in advance discussing the project itself, Timelines, Finance measures etc.

 

Winter Wonderland

This year our Christmas Market and Santa Wonderland will be held on the weekend of the 10th and 11th of December, details to be announced later.
