Message from Community
Need your help. In Jan, this year a devastating fire destroyed Ronnie & Mary Butler's home in Skenakilla Castletownroche. Ronnie & Mary lived in Kildorrery for many years. Ronnie was involved with Kildorrery GAA for over 10 yrs training teams at underage level & as caretaker during that time. He currently works with Kildorrery Tidy Towns & is always on hand to set up for Community events. His contribution to the Community is invaluable. Through funds raised at a fundraiser at Hannah Griffins Bar the building has been re-roofed but as there was no house insurance the family need further help to complete restoring their home. Kildorrery are holding a Coffee Morning, Raffle, Cake Sale on next Saturday 22nd Mar 10am to 12 30pm in the Billiard Room in the Community Hall & will continue the fundraiser at Walsh's Bar the same night with live music. Your support would mean everything to the family & any donation would be gratefully received. If you cannot attend the fundraiser on the 22nd Mar you can drop your donation to the Community office by The Store in the Creamery yard. Cakes can be handed in at the Billiard Room on the 22nd. Let's help to get Ronnie & Mary back home. Thank you so much.
