Work commences on Pitch
This week work commenced n the pitch with our contractors PST. This is an exciting time for the club, and we look forward to seeing it progress over the next few months. Thanks to everybody responsible for making this happen. Once the pitch is complete it will make for a fabulous facility for all.
Busy Week
It was another busy week just passed with lots of activities happening to keep driving the fundraising for the pitch. The pool tournament concluded in Ollies and well done to Shane and Kevin our finalists. Resistance had a love quiz in Hannah griffins and the crack was mighty.
The fundraising is going great and thanks to everybody for putting their shoulder to the wheel. Thanks to everybody for their support over the weekend. All events were so well supported. All teams are getting closer to the target.
All filming is Now completed and it’s into the editing rooms they go. The night itself will be a great spectacle for everybody.
The box office will communicate around tickets this week. A priority sale will take place first to those involved.
Variety Show
As part of The Kildorrery Film Award fundraiser for the Astro Turf project, the film ‘RESISTANCE’ are holding A VARIETY SHOW on Thursday 20th February from 8pm to 10pm. This night will feature a host of local talent and tickets are now on sale in Thornhills Opticians. €10 Adult, €5 Children. Raffle on the night. Hope you can make it! This will be a night of crack,ceoil and entertainment.

Point to Point Races this weekend
The club and film awards are looking forward to supporting the Kildorrery Point-2-Point Races, this Saturday coming. First race will be at 1pm.
Lotto
The lotto took place this week coming, and the lotto was not won. Next time the jackpot will be a healthy €3400. Our lucky dip winners this week were Willie Roche,Catherine O Sullivan,Tommy Atkins,Bernard Cronin,Eimear Sherlock and Michael McCarthy.
Astro Project
The club Astro Project will kick on now also in the next few weeks with final contracts being drawn up to commence the work. This is going to be a very exciting time for the club and we appreciate the help and support given by the wider community.
