Juvenile News

Our very busy and fruitful season on the pitches is coming to a close with nearly all of our underage groups finishing up for the year.

Our U11’s went out with a bang last Friday evening with victory over Kilshannig to win the Sherlock Memorial Cup. This piece of silverware had been passed around a few age groups this year & has duly earned its place in Kildorrery for this year!

Our U9’s braved the terrible weather in Mallow on Saturday last and played three games in a monster football blitz. The two teams showed great skill & determination in the wind, rain & muddy conditions. This was also their final day out for the year & they will look forward to a well earned break.

End of Year Activities

Our Juvenile Gaa groups & our ladies football & Camogie juvenile age groups are looking forward to Bank Holiday Monday. The younger age groups with head to Mallow Gate Cinema to watch a Halloween movie. Our older age groups with head to Ballyhass Adventure Centre to take part in some fun activities. This is the first year our one club has brought both clubs together for the end of year activities & we’re sure a fantastic day of fun will be enjoyed. Plans are also underway for a joint end of year celebration social for medal presentations on December 2nd. Save the date!
