Centenary Junior A hurling North Cork Final
The club hosted the north cork junior A hurling final last Saturday at 2pm between glanworth and Kilavullen. There was a couple of hundred patrons along with a sizeable contingent from the local club. Congratulations to Killavullen Gaa who took the the Avondhu Centenary Hibernian Hotel JAHC final winners’ trophy. Thanks to Johhny and seany for our excellently prepared venue. Final score 2-19 to 2-18 Thanks to everyone who supported from the club on the day. It is greatly appreciated. Teamwork makes the dream work! Thanks to the board for the opportunity to host the event itself.
End of year Juvenile Blitz
Congrats to our juveniles who take part in their end of year blitz on Saturday evening. Congrats to the coaching committee in conjunction with Juvenile girls and boys’ clubs who ran such a successful evening. Big shout out to our hatch team who were working all day also. Well done to all.
Coaching Committee
A few important developments for the club coming up. The coaching committee along with the Juvenile club is delighted to announce a Six week S&C programme specifically designed specifically for boys from 10 to 16. Please see flier attached. Names and money will be collected on Thursday 7th November.
Secondly the coaching committee have issued a google doc to all coaches within the club to encourage coaches to let the committee know what areas they would like to work in for 2025. This is a very important development with a view to harnessing the skills within the club. We encourage everybody to fill out.
Fixtures
Our junior B footballers travel to Shanballymore this Sunday to play Milford in the county Junior B championship. The time is to be confirmed. Keep an eye on internal social channels for details. Best wishes to all involved.
AGM Time
Our three AGMs are now set. Juvenile Friday 22nd Ladies Friday 29th Parent club Friday December 6th If you would like to get involved in any capacity with any of the areas, please leave any of the club chairs Tracey Dave or Joe know. We will be inviting positions for vice chair in the adult club for 2025 as current vice chair Peter takes over the reins at juvenile county level. Well done Peter.

Our intermediate hurling selection and management team will be stepping down from their roles after the year. We would like to thank them for all they have done for the club for the last few years. Best wishes in the future.

Kildorrery Drama Group
The Drama group will be holding their Play Through the Chair from Tuesday 19th to Sunday 24th November Inclusive. Tickets €12 Adults €5 Kids (u16) now on sale at the Community Office, Thornhill Opticians or from Eileen (6pm to 8pm) at 087-6705798
