The U17s had a though defeat after extra time on Sunday v St. Dominic’s in the Rebel Òg D3 Championship cup.
Final replay. The boys gave it their all & were marginally defeated by two points in extra time. Well done to all the panel who gave a super performance & never gave up!
Liam visits the Hill
Great excitement at Monday night’s nights training sessions on the pitch. Sean O’Donnell & David McCarthy brought the Liam McCarthy cup to visit. This was a fantastic opportunity for all the young juvenile players to get up close & get a photo with this much coveted trophy. Our U16 girls who played a challenge against neighbours Glanworth even delayed their game to get a quick snap with Liam.
U7’s Weekend Blitz
Well done to the boys & girls who represented Kildorrery at their blitz at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday and gave a fantastic account of themselves. Super job by the coaches in getting them ready and organising the great hurling games on the 4G pitch.
Best of luck to our U12 & U16 girls who are out this week in county championship games. Speedy recovery wishes to players who got injured over the last week & have to miss out on upcoming games.
Our U11s (pictured below) were invited to Clogheen, Tipperary to participate in a mini Munster hurling tournament. Kildorrery were the Cork representatives, Glenroe represented Limerick, Cappaquin represented Waterford and Fr. Sheehys represented Tipperary and hosted the tournament. Our boys played fantastic. It was a round robin where we drew with Tipperary, we defeated Limerick and Waterford to qualify for the final, which was against Tipperary again and the boys were marginally beaten by just one puck of a sliotar. A mighty day of hurling was had and the boys did their county and their club proud.
