Tea Party

The fundraising tea party was held on Friday night the 23rd in the Greenwood Inn Ardpatrick. It was a great success with around 150 people attending. Thanks to the hard work of all the hosts who put on fabulous spreads, the Greenwood inn who provided the venue and the tea and Coffee and Éistigí who provided music into the early hours. Thanks everyone.

U21 football

Congratulations to the Kildorrery u21B footballers who won the North Cork football Championship last Saturday in a very exciting game against Buttevant winning by 10 points 3-9 to 0-8 in Castletownroche. Well done lads you did yourselves and your club proud.

U13 Football

U13 played Granard Gaels in Churchtown in a very even match but Granard Gaels won 7-6 to 6-2. The team was as follows Tony Watson (Capt)2-0,Cahill Harrington 1-0 , James Keating 2-1, Paddy Pigott 1-0, Micheal Caplice 0-1,Seamas Óg Shealy, Martynas Comber, Eoin Fenton, Cathal,Mattie and Fionnán Walsh O’Grady, Nial Higgins, Anthony Crowley, Emmet Slattery, Richard O’Sullivan, Kevin Noonan, David Hunter and Seán Cunningham.

Cork Scór na bPáistí

Well done to the Kildorrery Novelty Act who were in the Cork County finals Scór na bPáistí in Ovens last Sunday. The team includes Róisín Guerin, Rachel Caplice, James Keating, Lauryn Shirkie, James Carton, John Hunter, Eoin Fenton and Niall Higgins although they didn’t win they did themselves proud getting that far. Congratulations also go to Tony Watson, who was a member of Mitchelstown CBS Ballad Group, representing Mitchelstown CBS by coming second.
