LOTTO

The Club’s lotto jackpot of E2,200 was not won when the fortnightly draw was held at Ollie’s Bar, last Saturday night. The numbers drawn were : 1,5,11,14. Three lucky dip winners of E50 each were :

  1. Catherine Roche, Limerick Road
  2. Tom Aherne, Quitrent
  3. Kay Monaghan, Scart

The next draw will be held at Walsh’s Corner House, on Saturday November 28th, when the jackpot will be E2,400.

 

LADIES’ VICTORY

Congratulations to the local ladies junior football team who defeated Passage in the league final at Passage, last Saturday afternoon. Congratulations also to their management team of Tony McCarthy, Cha Hanley and Denis Fitzgerald. A fitting end to the year!

 

MINORS IN FINAL

Our Minor C footballers, having won through to the County final, still await the identity of their opponents in the County final.

Last Friday evening before a training session they were the grateful recipients of a set of tops, socks and shorts, jointly sponsored by Tom Monaghan Snr., Kevin O’Neill Transport, Liam Young Construction and D&S Myers Construction. The gesture is gratefully acknowledged by the Club.

 

CLUB 100 DRAW

The final draw for 2015 took place at last Monday’s meeting and resulted as follows:

E150 Liz and Noel Hurley, Ballyshonack.

E50 Sheila O’Connor, Scart.

 

AGM

The next Club meeting will be the annual general meeting on Friday December 4th at 7.30 p.m.

The Juvenile Club’s AGM will be held on the previous Tuesday night, December 1st at 7.30 p.m.

 

SYMPATHY

At last Monday’s Club meeting a vote of sympathy was passed to Kathleen Fitzgibbon, Ballyorgan, on the death of her brother. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
